On December 4, 2024, Tay Do University successfully presented its findings on the Can Tho City-level scientific and technological research project, “Factors affecting Can Tho city’s role as the regional connecting center of the Mekong Delta.”
On December 4, 2024, Tay Do University successfully presented its findings on the Can Tho City-level scientific and technological research project, “Factors affecting Can Tho city’s role as the regional connecting center of the Mekong Delta.”
The study aimed to analyze, evaluate, and forecast the factors influencing Can Tho's position as the Mekong Delta's regional hub. It sought to propose strategies for solidifying the city's role as the core of regional connectivity.
The research identified eight key factors: Human resources, Infrastructure, Geographical location, Cooperation, Government policies, Economic capacity, Market, And Connectivity effectiveness. Moreover, it proposed a model for linking the tourism industry and outlined solutions to enhance Can Tho's regional, inter-regional, and international connectivity.
Looking ahead, Tay Do University is committed to undertaking further research projects to contribute to the nation's development, aligned with the institution's mission and vision.
