Tay Do University officially recognized as 4-star UPM – A powerful transition on the integration journey

November 27, 2025 marks an extremely important milestone for Tay Do University as the University was officially awarded 4-star certification by the UPM Innovation Institute (UPM Innovation Institute) according to the University Performance Metrics (UPM) rating system. This is strong evidence of the University's persistent efforts, comprehensive innovation, and correct development strategy over many years.

UPM (University Performance Metrics) is a university rating system according to regional and international standards, focusing on training quality, research capacity, innovation, degree of knowledge transfer, infrastructure, and degree of community service. With the philosophy of “learner-centered – evidence-based development”, UPM has become one of the reputable metrics trusted by many universities in Vietnam and the Southeast Asian region.

Being ranked 4-star UPM shows that Tay Do University has reached high-quality standards, reputation nationwide and regionally, especially prominent in the “Teaching Intensive Institution” orientation – focusing on enhancing teaching quality, learning, and student experience.

The UPM system evaluates universities through many comprehensive sets of criteria. Achieving 4 stars confirms that Tay Do University: Achieves national and regional reputation, has prominent training quality, especially in application orientation, modern and practical learning environment. Creating conditions for students to develop professional capacity right from when they are still in university.
