FOUNDING COUNCIL

The Founding Council of Tay Do University was established under Decision No. 1526/QD-CT.UB dated May 19, 2004, by the Chairman of the People's Committee of Can Tho City. The Council consists of 8 members:

1. Mr. Lu Van Dien, former Member of the Party Central Committee, former Secretary of the Can Tho Provincial Party Committee - Chairman of the Founding Council.

2. People's Teacher, Prof. Dr.Sc. Nguyen Tan Lap, former Rector of the University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City - Vice Chairman of the Founding Council.

3. Dr. Lawyer Nguyen Tien Dung – Vice Chairman of the Founding Council.

4. Labor Hero, People's Teacher, Prof. Dr. Vo Tong Xuan, former Rector of An Giang University – Member of the Founding Council.

5. Mr. Vo Minh Can, former Deputy Secretary of the Can Tho Provincial Party Committee - Member of the Founding Council.

6. Meritorious Teacher, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Vo Khac Thuong - Member of the Founding Council.

7. Meritorious Teacher, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Phan Van Thom - Member of the Founding Council.

8. Dr. Nguyen Phuoc Quy Quang - Member of the Founding Council.
