Food Technology is a major that trains bachelors with specialized knowledge and skills in preservation, processing, and quality control of products after harvest and food products. The Mekong Delta is a key agricultural and aquatic region of the country, with very high demand for processing and preservation of agricultural and aquatic products. Students of Food Technology at Tay Do University are equipped with foundational knowledge of chemistry, biology, physics, and specialized knowledge of processing technology for meat, fish, milk, vegetables, beverages, and quality control systems like ISO, HACCP, etc.

The training program is designed to be highly practical, with modern laboratory systems and opportunities for practical internships at large food processing enterprises in the region.
