Tay Do University has the mission of training high-quality human resources capable of applying science across multiple fields, contributing to the socio-economic development of the Mekong Delta region through flexible knowledge delivery methods for learners. By 2025, the university aims to become the leading multi-disciplinary private university in the Mekong Delta and strives to reach the level of Southeast Asia by 2035.
As part of the implementation plan for the development strategy, Tay Do University has prepared the necessary conditions. Recognizing the commitments of the university in ensuring quality as well as the achievements that Tay Do University has attained, on July 16, 2024, Dr. Choltis Dhirathiti, the Executive Director of AUN, sent a letter to congratulate and announce that Tay Do University has been accepted as an associate member of the Southeast Asian University Quality Assurance Network.

AUN is a network of leading universities in Southeast Asia established in November 1995 through the initiative of the Education Ministers of Southeast Asian countries, with initial members nominated by the respective Education Ministers. To date, AUN-QA has 179 affiliate higher education institutions, of which Vietnam has over 50.
Becoming an associate member of the Southeast Asian University Quality Assurance Network will provide significant collaboration opportunities with top universities in the region, aiming for the most advanced quality assurance standards in higher education. Being an associate member of the quality assurance network in ASEAN universities is also a prerequisite for Tay Do University to participate in the accreditation of training programs according to AUN standards in the near future.
