The NASA Week was organized to inspire the younger generation with stories of astronauts' work and life in the space environment; sharing scientific research on how to protect Earth, avoid environmental pollution, warn of risks from collisions with other planets, and explore extraterrestrial life...
Through this, the event aimed to provide career guidance and set career directions for the youth, organizing STEM educational activities – NASA STEM DAY for teenagers and young adults.
Participating in the week, students had the opportunity to interact with two prominent figures in the aerospace field, including:
Mr. MICHAEL A. BAKER – Former US Navy Captain, former NASA Astronaut.
- JOSEF SCHMID – Surgeon, NASA's Family Doctor.
Additionally, the program awarded gifts to students from Tay Do University and other universities and colleges in the Mekong Delta region who are in difficult circumstances.
