"FACULTY OF ACCOUNTING - FINANCE AND BANKING"

INTRODUCTION

The establishment of the Faculty of Accounting - Finance and Banking was based on the separation from the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration under the resolution of Tay Do University on July 28th, 2011.

FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The Faculty of Accounting - Finance and Banking not only takes responsibility for advising the Headmaster but also administers the training, scientific research, transfer activities, and community service in the field of accounting, finance, and banking.

The Faculty of Accounting - Finance and Banking offers levels ranging from bachelor to master degrees with two majors including Accounting and Finance – Banking.

Achieving an advanced and excellent labor collective through many consecutive years.

In 2019, the Faculty of Accounting - Finance and Banking completed the external assessment of both Bachelor program in Finance - Banking and Accounting. In March 2020, the Faculty was granted a certificate of educational quality accreditation for these programs.

DEVELOPMENT ORIENTATION

• By 2025, developing the teaching staff consisting of lecturers with higher degrees, qualified teaching skills, and scientific reputation is always an important strategy to boost both the scale and quality of training.
• A sufficient number of human resources are qualified and capable of access to modern knowledge, consistent with the development trend of the region.
• The faculty’s strategies reflect (i) the vision, mission, and culture of the University as well as strategic goals in training, scientific research, and community service; (ii) an orientation towards innovation and (iii) the establishment of a smart university in response to the requirements of Industry 4.0.
• Conducting self-assessment and registering for external evaluation of Master training programs in Finance - Banking and Accounting according to national requirements.
• Implementing advanced and high-quality training programs.
• Enhancing the quality of training to meet the needs of businesses and employers.
• Improving the effective association with businesses during training activities.
