INTRODUCTION

The Department of Information & Communications Management was established in 2019 to meet the development needs of the University in operating and developing information technology products. Its predecessor was the website team established in 2012.

FUNCTIONS

  • Advise the Rectorate and units within the University on information technology-related issues.
  • Develop, manage, and operate information technology products such as the electronic portal, email system, training management software, etc.
  • Manage and support faculty, staff, and students in the use of the University’s information technology products.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Post articles on the University’s portal.
  • Design banners and edit images as required.
  • Design and develop information technology products such as the electronic portal, management software, etc.
  • Manage organizational, unit, and individual emails (faculty, staff, specialists, and students) within the University.
  • Write instructional documents and provide training to faculty, staff, specialists, and students on information technology-related matters.
  • Operate and support faculty, staff, specialists, and students in using the training management software.

ORGANIZATIONAL STRUCTURE

The Department of Information & Communications Management consists of 9 members, including 2 dedicated members and 7 part-time members: 1 head, 1 deputy head, and 5 other members.

DEVELOPMENT ORIENTATION

Provide advice, develop, and enhance information technology products to promote computerization and automation in all areas and activities of the University.
